FROM NOW THROUGH DECEMBER 24. Welcome to the Uptown Grand Rapids Season of Shop Hop 2020. A full season to:

 

 

 

SHOP SAFE. Your health and safety while in our district are Uptown’s #1 priority. So, this year we’ve spread Shop Hop into a full season of holiday cheer, to allow for maximized social distancing. Our businesses are steadfast in their adherence to the most current guidance and orders set by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. As these guidelines may adapt, so will we. Mask wearing, social distance observance, safe shopping practices such as reduced capacity limits per space, and more, can be counted on in Uptown. We want you to have fun AND peace of mind when here. 

 

 

 

SHOP LOCAL. Now more than ever before, our local shops, eateries, and services need you. We invite you to get your “festive” on, and check off the gifts on your list, while supporting the small businesses that are the very heartbeat of Uptown.

 

 

SHOP HOP. So, come spend some time with us. We’re creating a cheery holiday atmosphere all throughout our district, that can be enjoyed from the great outdoors. We’re hosting a window decorating collaborative with business owners and local artists, spanning all four of our business neighborhoods. We’re busily dressing our shopfronts, sprucing our planters, and stringing up lights. We’re warming our patios and offering ways to enjoy the outside even as the temperatures begin to drop.

Additionally, look for extra sweet moments of outdoor surprise and delight, to occur throughout Uptown, on December’s 3, 10, and 17. 

Bundle up. Dig out that Santa hat from storage. And of course, grab your mask. We’ll see you soon.
