Howdy, eager Elf Hunters! We’re delighted that you have agreed to lend us a hand once again, to wrangle this year’s gaggle of Uptown Holiday elves.
They’re really quite a handful this time around and certainly learned a few tricks from the last time they were in the area. Trust us, they do NOT want to be discovered. Are you kidding? They’ve been much too busy enjoying themselves by wreaking havoc and being pests and making mischief in general, for our hard-working friends in Uptown. They have no intention of stopping their silliness, anytime soon.
This year there are nearly 90 of the little stinkers hiding out and about, in many of our district’s shops and restaurants and more. Will you let us know if you see them around? We’d like you to “capture” 20 of them – think you can??
Here are your marching orders: Beginning this Saturday, November 23rd, we are sending you out to scope out as many of these hiding spots–err, businesses, as you can. While there, peek around until you find their admittedly adorable little mugs. They look like this, and each one has a name, written right below their mugshot:
Once an elf has been located, record their name on your Elf Hunter’s Player Card – you can find these cards at any of the participating businesses; or, you can print your own, as well.
When your card has been filled with at least 20 names, it’s time to turn it in, and – here’s where it gets good – we’ll enter it into a drawing. You just might win a prize, and boy howdy, are these prizes awesome. This year, there’s five of them!
That’s FIVE chances to win. Each prize is a nice juicy bundle of gift cards, redeemable at tons of shops and spots to enjoy right here in Uptown. These gifts are for players of all ages…and one is even geared just extra-especially for kiddos. Think candy…and ice cream…and toys…OH MY.
Fair warning – we really need the names of these elves so we can get going on their capture. We’ve got business to get back to and it has been really hard to concentrate with their constant singing and giggling and pranks going on.
So you should probably hop to it as soon as you can. Turn in your cards after the contest kick-off or anytime after that,…all the way up until 9 pm on Thursday December 5th. Hey – that’s the Uptown Shop Hop!
(And you were already planning to come to THAT shindig already anyway, right?)

The Uptown Holiday Elf Scavenger Hunt contest runs from Saturday, November 23 – Thursday, December 5.
Completed cards must include at least 20 elf names.
They may be turned in, at one of these three spots:
Rebel – or Basic Bee Boutique – or Hermitage At Diamond (This drop-off location is open on 12/5 Shop Hop night ONLY)
All players will receive an official “Elf Hunter Extraordinaire” sticker badge!
