MODRN GR

Is your home in need of a remodel? MODRN GR is currently changing their storefront and now offers design services in addition to retail items in the store. Owner Katie Lyons, partnered with a local builder, Henry Westerhuis, at Right Time Construction, and these two are proving themselves to be quite the dynamic duo. Offering design services and construction for both remodels and new homes. They work throughout Grand Rapids and the surrounding areas. The storefront has been undergoing a remodel, and once they open back up, stop in to see the amazing work they can do!

Commune

Walking in here makes you feel like you just stepped into the cutest, California desert-styled Airbnb. One of the newer kids on the block, Commune recently opened their doors in the Eastown Business District, and is best described as a ‘West Coast general store.’ They have a mixture of smaller home items to choose from including candles, mugs, and various home accessories. This store is an instant boost of energy, and it’s hard not to purchase everything in sight.
Be sure to also check out their other store in the neighborhood, Rebel Reclaimed, your one-stop-shop for any gifts you need to purchase.

Your home’s looking good! Time to plan your housewarming party & these Uptown shops have everything you need to get it ready.

Heading through the Wealthy Street District, pick up your fresh flowers from Thelma’s Flowers, the artisan chocolate desserts from Mokaya, and any entertaining items from the carefully curated, Art of the Table. Each of these shops are within a very close walking distance from one another, on the West end of the Wealthy Street District.

As you head further East in Uptown, pick up your local meats from Louis Earl Butcher and head into the Eastown Business District for fresh pasta from The Local Epicurean. Last but certainly not least, don’t forget the wine in the East Hills Business District, at Leon & Son

Welcome to the neighborhood, we’re so glad you’re here!
